JLK Weddings styled shoot

We recently partnered with Jessica Kersey of JLK Weddings, a wedding planner currently living in Northwest Arkansas. Her attention to detail, elegant style, and big-picture vision was something that we were excited to be a part of. Here’s what she had to say about the shoot:

In designing our most recent photo shoot, I began with the idea of an extravagant elopement. I wanted to show couples that choosing an intimate elopement, didn’t have to mean sacrificing the beauty and romance of a wedding.We chose 2 dresses for our bride – a traditional white and an unconventional plum – from a local bridal shop. For the groom’s attire, it was an easy decision. I knew I wanted to use Menguin, having worked with them before. I spoke with someone on their staff who told me about their new Slim Fit options, which seemed perfect for this particular design. The charcoal gray was sophisticated, but not traditional, which is exactly what I needed for this extravagant elopement.I simply sent the Menguin Fit Card to the model, he had a tailor measure him, and we submitted his details. Everything arrived early and in perfect condition. Menguin dressed him from head to toe and he looked impeccable.After a few wonderful experiences with smaller orders, I recommend Menguin to many of my wedding clients now. Menguin dressed a groom and 8 groomsmen for me last weekend to perfection.

We loved this modern-bohemian look Jessica pulled off. The florals were bursting with life and the gold and brass details were such a unique and beautiful touch. The plum dress was an unconventional choice that complimented the Ginza’s charcoal grey color so well. This shoot encompassed everything elegant and romantic, and we loved being able to be involved with it!
